I registered on AMM just as I turned 18... I had, what I thought, was luck within a few weeks. He turned out to be a complete a**hole but luckily I decided to stay online to chat to people. During the last 3 years I have been on and off this site, deleting and re-creating my profile as I get dis-heartened and then decide to give it another go.
Luckily in 2005, I saw a man trying to get my attention. We grew up not far from each other, 30 minutes in fact. And played fo neighbouring sporting teams, and would have seen each other as we grew up, just never met. And when we got to talking, we were living 6 hours apart. Within a week, I had decided to give it a shot..... Within 6 weeks, we were engaged and 8 months after meeting we were married.
2 years on, we have a son who was born in October 2006, and a loving life. I beleive I found my soul mate...If it weren't for AMM, I doubt we ever would have met!
Keep trying, you never know who will be around the corner!!
