I swim laps for training and get into a routine just focusing on technique and rhythm... ignoring most things around me.

Recently I was swimming in this way... looking at the bottom of the pool and concentrating. Unbeknown to me... a lady had ducked under the lane rope about half way along and was doing a very leisurely breaststroke style (far too slow for the lane).

Now, the technique of the legs with breaststroke is to kick the legs back and apart then snap them together… the so-called frog-kick.

As circumstance had it (to both our surprises)... I caught up to her just as her legs kicked back and apart. The timing could not have been more perfect (or unfortunate?).

The first I knew of this was when I felt my hand hit something, other than water! I instantly lifted my head to see legs either side of my shoulders and that the 'something' my hands hit was bathers... more specifically... perfectly between the lady's legs. As my hand followed its normal motion of reaching forward before pulling down into the stroke... well… a little imagination and one can understand what happened.

The moment when her legs had kicked apart/spread my hand reached forward and firmly prodded between the cheeks of her bum then pulled down her crack to her fanny.

This was all a complete accident!

Needless to say... we both stopped and looked at each other...we both knew what had happened and what had been touched. I was going to apologise, but I thought that might be awkward and embarrass her. So we ended up not saying anything.

Not sure what the correct thing to do in such a situation :-)

Now when I swim I often glimpse her looking at me... not sure if that is a good or bad thing.
